The day in short

For a long layover or a same-day arrival and departure. Your guide-driver meets you at arrivals, stores your luggage in the car, and runs a compact loop built around your actual flight times rather than a fixed script — old Tokyo at Senso-ji, and the neon of Shibuya, in whatever order the traffic favours that day.

  • ✦ Met at arrivals — no queueing for trains with your luggage
  • ✦ The Kaminarimon gate and Nakamise street at Senso-ji
  • ✦ The Shibuya scramble crossing and Hachiko statue

Pickup

Your guide holds a name board past immigration and customs, and stows your luggage in the car — nothing to carry for the rest of the loop.

+55 min~45 min

Senso-ji & Nakamise

Temple · ~45 min

The Kaminarimon "Thunder Gate" and the five-storey pagoda, then the Nakamise street of small shops leading up to the temple.

+1 hr 50~20 min

Sumida River & Skytree

Viewpoint · ~20 min

A photo stop on the river with the Tokyo Skytree behind — a quick sense of the modern city after the old temple.

↓ 35 min
+2 hr 45~30 min

Shibuya Crossing & Hachiko

Crossing · ~30 min

The busiest pedestrian crossing in the world, and the statue of the loyal dog Hachiko just beside it.

↓ 15 min · a quick bite en route
+3 hr 30~20 min

Coffee or a quick bite

Own account · ~20 min

A conbini run or a coffee stop, on your call — kept short by design.

↓ 45–60 min back to the airport
+5 hrsDrop-off

Back at the airport

Dropped at departures with buffer time before check-in closes — your guide builds that buffer in from the start.

Weather & flexibility

Rain rarely cancels anything — your guide simply reorders the stops. We only recommend moving the date for a storm or typhoon warning, with no penalty.

★★★★★
“An 8-hour layover turned into an actual visit to Tokyo instead of a food court. Being met at arrivals with our bags handled was worth it alone.”

★★★★★
“We landed at 9am and flew out at 9pm — by 2pm we had seen Senso-ji and stood in the middle of the Shibuya crossing. Perfectly timed.”

Common questions.

Message your guide as soon as you know — the loop is built around your actual times, and a shorter version (Asakusa or Shibuya, not both) is the usual fallback for a tighter window.

Yes — that is the point of the car staying with you the whole time. No lockers, no trains with suitcases.

Enough for one solid neighbourhood plus a second stop, allowing for immigration, the drive each way and a buffer before your next check-in. We will tell you honestly if your window is too tight and suggest trimming the loop.

Yes — the whole point is that it is built around you. Tell your guide your interests when you land.

Still unsure? Message us on WhatsApp — usually a reply within the hour.
